Terms of Service

1. Who may use the service

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. This is not only a content rule: membership includes an affiliate programme that pays commission, and that is a contract a minor cannot enter into. We ask for your date of birth during setup and refuse any date that would make you under 18.

The service is offered in the United States only. We do not offer it elsewhere, and the guidance inside the app names US emergency and crisis numbers on that basis.

2. Your account

You sign up with an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself — anything done through a signed-in session is treated as done by you, and you should tell us promptly if you believe somebody else has access.

Two of the answers you give during setup are permanent, and the software enforces this rather than merely asking:

• Your username. It is claimed the moment you confirm it and cannot be changed afterwards. Other people type it to record that you invited them, so a username that moved would break somebody else’s record as well as your own.
• Your date of birth. It is the evidence behind the age requirement above. An answer that could be rewritten later would not be evidence of anything.

If either is wrong, write to us at {[email protected]} rather than trying to change it in the app. Everything else — your name, your interests, your email address — you can change yourself at any time.

3. Membership and payment

Some of the library is open to a free account. Membership opens the rest, adds the coaching feature, and gives you access to the affiliate programme. Membership is a recurring subscription, billed in US dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

Membership renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you remain a member until that period runs out. How refunds work is set out in our Refund Policy.

We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you before the change affects a payment, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. The affiliate programme

Every account has a referral link. When somebody signs up through your link and later becomes a paying member, a commission is recorded for you — and for the people above you on the referral chain, up to 5 levels.

• A commission is a flat amount per paying member per payment, in US dollars. It is not a share of what they paid.
• A commission starts as pending. Pending is the window in which the underlying payment can still be reversed, and we approve commissions only after we are satisfied the payment is settled.
• If a payment is refunded or reversed, the commission it produced is cancelled.
• You request a payout once your approved balance reaches the published minimum. We pay the amount frozen at the moment of the request.
• Inviting people who do not exist, buying sign-ups, or creating accounts yourself to earn commission ends the programme for you and may end your account.

We may change how the programme works, including the amounts and the number of levels. Changes apply to commissions recorded after the change, not to commissions already earned.

5. What you may not do

• Share your account, or your membership, with anybody else.
• Copy, download, redistribute or re-publish the talks. They are licensed to you personally, for personal use, for as long as your access lasts.
• Attempt to reach content your account is not entitled to, or interfere with the service or the people using it.
• Submit written feedback that is abusive, unlawful, or somebody else's to submit. We review feedback before it appears publicly and may decline to publish it.
• Use the coaching feature to seek help in an emergency — see the disclaimer.

6. The talks, and what you write

The talks, the artwork and the software are ours or our licensors’. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it to you.

What you write — a rating, a comment, a message to a coach — stays yours. By submitting a comment for publication you allow us to display it beside the talk it is about, alongside your first name and username. You can ask us to remove it.

7. Ending your account

You can close your account from the app at any time. Closing ends access immediately, signs out every device, and cancels any live subscription.

Closing is not the same as erasure. We keep the record so that ratings, watch history and other people’s referral attribution are not destroyed along with it, and so that a closure made by mistake can be undone. If you want your personal data erased rather than merely closed, that is a separate request and the Privacy Policy explains how to make it.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we will say why.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, or that any particular talk will remain available.

Nothing in Amazing Life App is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and the coaching feature is generated by software rather than delivered by a licensed professional. Please read the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you through the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of {State}, and the courts of {State} have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
